𝐉𝐨𝐑𝐧 π‡πžπ§π«π² 𝐖𝐒π₯𝐜𝐳𝐞𝐀

    John Henry Wilczek, 58, of Loyal, passed away Friday December 8, 2023 at his home. He was born January 14, 1965 in Kingfisher, the youngest child of Theresa Berntsen Wilczek and the late Louis Wilczek. He attended Lomega schools and was a 1983 graduate. After graduation he attended Okmulgee School of Technology where he studied Diesel Mechanics.  In July of 1984 he began working for Temtrol  in Okarche and worked there until his death.

      John farmed and ranched with his brother, Rodger. During his younger years he enjoyed team roping, coyote hunting, riding horses, and participating in the Kingfisher Ranch Rodeo each year.  Every Saturday morning, you could find John eating breakfast at the City CafΓ©. He always enjoyed visiting with his brothers and friends.

    He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and attended the mission church Saint Rose of Lima in Watonga.

    John was preceded in death by his father Louis Wilczek, niece baby Wilczek, niece Lori Wilczek Underwood, niece Karina Wilczek, great nephew Taylor Wilczek, great niece Mikaela Wilczek, paternal grandparents Simon and Rose Wilczek, maternal grandparents Henry and Monica Berntsen.

    He is survived by his mother, Theresa Wilczek; siblings, James (Janet) Wilczek, Stephen (Sharon) Wilczek, Stanley (Cindy) Wilczek, Edward (Carol) Wilczek, David (Rose) Wilczek, Ronald (Kim) Wilczek, Cheryl Wilczek, Rodger Wilczek, Denise Reilly, and Mark (Elaine) Wilczek. He is also survived by his twenty nieces and nephews and his thirty-seven great nieces and nephews.

   Wake service for John will be Thursday evening at 7:00pm at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, 10:00am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, followed by burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Loyal, OK.

    Memorial gifts in John’s name may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery or the American Heart Association.
