Yesterday, January 27th, the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce had its Annual Banquet, and it did not disappoint. With roughly 400 people and over 200 businesses and organizations in attendance, this was one for the books. This year’s theme was “This is My Town.” Businesses were encouraged to wear their company logos and decorate tables with their company branding to show and promote everything that makes Kingfisher the great place it is.
When it came to the food, drinks, and dessert, it was “A Taste of Kingfisher” Extravaganza. 33 Express, Boomerang Diner, Burger Shoppe, City Cafe, Gordos Authentic Mexican Restaurant, Iron Wheel BBQ, Sonic Drive-In, Stack Bar & Grill, Sunrise Cafe, The Shed, and The Smokehouse Collective all provided us with full stomachs and happy hearts. Chef’s kiss!
Instead of a keynote speaker for this year’s event, the Chamber thought it would be a great idea (which it was) to have people who were born and raised right here in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, share their love, perspective, and admiration for Our Town. Guest speakers were Chod Trout, Morgan Winters, Dan Craig, Roxie Patterson, Paul Schulte, Jaryn Buseman, John Johnson, and Savana Reherman.
As for the rest of the night, laughs were had, memories were shared, games were played, awards were given, and lots and lots of pictures were taken.
