Kingfisher High School welcomed the start of a new school year with a special flag-raising ceremony on Friday, August 14. The morning gathering brought students and staff together to celebrate school pride and mark a fresh beginning.
Student body president Molly Weber opened the ceremony by welcoming everyone in attendance and sharing an enthusiastic greeting for the year ahead.
Boys State and Girls State delegates raised the American flag while the Pride of Kingfisher performed the national anthem. Students and staff stood together as the flag rose above the school grounds.
The band then played the school fight song as the Kingfisher flag was raised, adding a spirited finish to the ceremony.
