The Christmas spirit is already shining bright in Kingfisher. City Manager Jim Thomas has selected the 2025 Winter Nights Christmas Tree — a magnificent 55-foot Norwegian spruce from Northern Michigan, standing five feet taller than last year’s.
As in years past, the city partnered with Dutchman Tree Farms to find the perfect tree, with the Kingfisher Winter Nights Committee generously covering the full cost. Evan Winters of High Pressure Transports will once again donate delivery of the tree — a gesture that perfectly captures the spirit of small-town generosity.
Plans are already underway for the Official Tree Lighting Ceremony, which will bring an evening of lights, laughter, and holiday cheer to families across Kingfisher.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to the Winter Nights Committee, the many volunteers, and everyone who helps keep this beloved tradition glowing. It truly takes a community to light a 55-foot tree.
