On Saturday, March 23rd, the Chisholm Trail Museum grounds in Kingfisher took a step back in time for a day filled with cowboy fun. There were about a dozen turn-of-the-century chuckwagon teams set up and cooking. Hundreds of spectators from around the area stopped by to enjoy the event. Activities included live music by Kyle Dillingham and Horseshoe Road band, cooking demonstrations and food samples, gunfights, Wild West Show performers, Medicine Man shows, and much more.
Because of parking challenges around the museum grounds this year they offered shuttle parking service. Attendees parked at the school and shuttle buses transported them to and from the event. Next year’s Chuck Wagon has already been scheduled for March 29th, 2025. Photos – AAK Jack Quirk
