After five years in remission, Asher Ladd, son of Justin and Chasity Ladd of Okarche, now faces Pre-B ALL, a treatable form of leukemia. Asher is a two-time cancer survivor, having first battled acute myeloid leukemia (AML) as a toddler. Despite everything, he continues his treatment with remarkable courage and a sweet, brave heart.
The Okarche Warriors community is known for rallying behind its own, but now it’s time for all of Kingfisher County to come together and show support for this family who calls the county home. Every plate at the dinner, bid in the silent auction, and prayer lifts Asher up and reminds him he has an entire community behind him.
A benefit dinner will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church Parish Hall in Okarche on Sunday, March 22nd, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Guests can enjoy a pulled pork dinner and participate in a silent auction, with all proceeds supporting Asher and his family.
For those unable to attend, donations can be made to a benefit account for Asher Ladd at F&M Bank in Okarche, payable to Justin or Chasity Ladd. Every contribution helps the family during this journey.
Join the community in celebrating Asher’s courage and showing this young warrior he is never alone.
