
B. Virginia Jindra passed away on Nov. 13, 2023. She was born on February 22, 1944, inCherryvale Kansas to Hollie C. Amos and Virginia Lucille Bohannon. She was raised inArkansas with two brothers and one sister.She married her first husband, James Rex Heskett in January 1961, and to that union, they hadthree precious sons. William James, Randell Lee and Ralf James Lee. Her sons were the lightof her life. In 1981, she and James moved to Kingfisher, Oklahoma. James passed away inNovember 1990.She married her second husband, William J. Jindra, in November 1991. She gained two stepsonsfrom this marriage, Tim and Barry.After moving to Kingfisher, she worked many jobs. Working for her dear friend Gayle Cox atCox Realty as office manager, Second Shamrock Nursing Center, and The Elks Lodge, where shewas manager, cook and bartender. She moved on to work at Pioneer Telephone until herretirement. She and Bill enjoyed retirement and spent many weekends at their cabin at CantonLake enjoying family, friends and fishing.As many of you know, she started working at nine years old, so after six years of retirement, shedecided to rejoin the workforce. She began working at Cherokee Transit. She enjoyed workingthere and met many new friends, both coworkers and clients.Her illness and the loss of her husband Bill took a toll, and she was unable to continue working.She is survived by her brother, Charles Amos; sister, Alice Smith; her sons and their wives, William and Penny, Randy and Dee, Ralf and Shelly, and her stepsons and their wives, Tim and Kim and Barry and Shelly. Grandchildren, Brandi Heskett, Kyah Heskett, Shawna Ford, Tim Durland and wife Tara, Amber Pringle and husband Cory. Dillon Heskett and wife Hannah, Allyson Brueggen and husband Kenny. Jessica Jindra, Scott Jindra, Tori Castleberry and wife Taylor, Trevor Jindra.12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. And a host of nieces, nephews andfriends.She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her father and mother, infant sister Diane, andone grandson, Skyler, a granddaughter, Drew and a nephew, Chris.She and Bill were blessed to have so many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren andfriends that they loved very much and loved them.In lieu of flowers, you may donate in Virginia’s name to the American Cancer Society.Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Kingfisher Cemetery.
