The Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp is an amazing organization that show kids ages 6-16 that their scars or disfiguring burns do not limit their ability to succeed. Those kids get a one-on-one free camping experience and get to learn life-saving techniques, make life-long friends, and receive counseling from other burn victims, nurses, and firefighters. One thing the camp desperately needs is sidewalks to the activity buildings to ensure the safe transportation of campers and volunteers who are bound to a wheelchair. Hunter is ensuring that 100% of the proceeds this race raises will be donated for that purpose!!
Participants in the Blazin’ Past Burns race (no matter if their pace is FAST, SLOW, WALK, or CRAWL) will get a swag bag full of goodies, a Blazin’ Past Burns t-shirt, and an awesome finisher medal! We are also going to have some raffles on race day for a gift certificate for free Eischen’s Chicken, On Cloud shoes, goodies, and more! The entire E-Board of Oklahoma Fire Fighters Burn Camp will be in attendance for the fun-filled and charitable day! March 23rd 2024 – 9:00am – 1340 S 13th St Kingfisher.
