In June of 2024, a new gym opened its doors in Kingfisher, but this wasn’t just any gym. Muscle-Pa’s was built with intention, heart, and faith at its foundation, literally. The family behind the gym wrote scripture within the walls, praying over the space and the people who would one day walk through its doors.
The vision was simple yet powerful to Charles Trout, owner of Muscle Pa’s: it was to create a gym that felt both welcoming and professional, a place where people of all fitness levels could feel encouraged, safe, and supported. With top-tier Matrix equipment and an environment that’s as clean as it is motivating, Muscle-Pa quickly became a space where faith and fitness go hand in hand.
At the heart of it all is the husband-and-wife duo who dreamed up Muscle-Pa’s. During a lighthearted conversation about grandparent names, the nickname “Muscle-Pa” came up, and it stuck. That playful moment turned into something much more: a name that now represents strength, service, and a commitment to building people up, both physically and spiritually.
Muscle-Pa’s offers a variety of membership options, from day passes to senior discounts, as well as reduced rates for first responders and military personnel. Independent personal trainers are available by appointment, and each locker room features a private shower. Saunas are on the way, continuing their goal to serve members with care and excellence.
As they approach their one-year anniversary, the gym celebrated with the Murph Challenge, an event that reflects grit and community, complete with prizes and plenty of encouragement.
Muscle-Pa’s isn’t just a place to work out; it’s a place to grow. Built on scripture, strengthened by family, and open to everyone in the community, it reminds us that even something as simple as a gym can be a vessel for something greater.
