Thursday, April 10th through Saturday, April 12th, the Kingfisher High School Drama Club brought the laughs with their performance of Burton Bumgarner’s Geoffrey Chaucer’s Flying Circus, a hilarious and modern take on The Canterbury Tales. This lively adaptation was filled with outrageous characters, laugh-out-loud moments, and unexpected twists that kept the audience thoroughly entertained each night.
Staying true to the original premise of a group of travelers sharing stories on their way to Canterbury, the play added a fresh and comedic spin. With slapstick humor, absurd plot turns, and anachronistic elements reminiscent of Monty Python, it delivered a fast-paced, over-the-top adventure from beginning to end.
