Congratulations to Cale Reagan on being selected as a recipient of the Scott and Kim Verplank Foundation Scholarship!
Cale applied for this incredible opportunity in the spring and was chosen as one of only 7 students out of 750 applicants nationwide. There were just two recipients selected from Oklahoma, making this honor even more special.
The Scott and Kim Verplank Foundation was created to support young people with Type 1 diabetes as they pursue a college education. Scott understands the challenges firsthand after being diagnosed as a child, and he and Kim are committed to helping students who show dedication to managing their health while working toward their future goals.
The scholarship provides up to $10,000 per year toward tuition, student fees, and books, renewable for up to four years of college.
One of the coolest parts of this experience is that Scott personally calls each scholarship recipient. Cale was also invited to attend the Pairings Party before the foundation’s golf tournament at Oak Tree National in Edmond.
We are so proud of Cale and the hard work, perseverance, and commitment that brought him to this moment. Congratulations, Cale!
