Two Chisholm Trail Technology Center students and faculty toured Thurmond Natural Gas Measurement manufacturing facility in Hennessey on Tuesday, March 12th. Hennesy Cardenas, a Kingfisher High School student and Sawyer Blevins, an adult student are both in the welding program. The two spent the morning learning about the special types of welding Thurmond uses in their manufacturing process from Shop Forman Moly Ryel.
Both Hennesy and Sawyer were recently certified in several categories in the CTTC welding program. The students were accompanied by faculty members Laramie Lopp – welding instructor, and Dan Craig – Small Business Manager.
