This past Saturday, August 5th, the 21st Annual Kool Cars & Chrome Car Show managed to draw an impressive crowd despite the intermittent rain that persisted throughout the morning. In addition to the stunning display of cars, attendees also had the pleasure of enjoying free axe throwing courtesy of Enid Axe, as well as delicious breakfast burritos and hamburgers provided by the KHS band. Furthermore, God’s Covenant Church offered Indian tacos as part of their fundraiser, and various food trucks were also present. This event took place in conjunction with the Crazy Days shopping event, city-wide garage sales, the farmer’s market, and the rodeo and dance that evening. There were over 30 registered garage sales, and 40+ cars at the car show. The Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce organizes various community events every year, including this particular one. They also coordinate the 4th of July parade, community tree lighting, and the Christmas parade and fireworks. Additionally, they arrange regular luncheons and coffee vibes for their members. All in all, it was a grand day in Kingfisher!
