Emergency crews responded to a reported electrocution at a drilling rig near the intersection of E860 Road and N2730 Road, south of Omega at approximately 12:30 p.m. today.
Omega Fire was dispatched to the scene, along with Kingfisher EMS. Due to the seriousness of the incident, an Air Evac Lifeteam paramedic helicopter was requested and transported the injured individual to an Oklahoma City hospital.
Agencies responding to the scene included Omega Fire, Kingfisher EMS, Kingfisher County Emergency Management, Kingfisher County Sheriff’s office, and Air Evac Lifeteam.
At this time, officials have not released the identity of the individual involved or information regarding the extent of their injuries.
