Jeff Johnson of Johnsons of Kingfisher joined the All About Network Webcast to share the story behind his family’s nearly century-old dealership. Founded in 1927 by his great-grandfather in Cashion, Oklahoma, the business evolved from selling farm implements to today’s Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram dealership.
Jeff, who returned in 2007 after studying at Oklahoma State University, now leads the fourth generation of the family business. He emphasized the dealership’s motto, “Our service sells cars,” noting that customer care through the parts and service department often builds lasting relationships.
Johnson also discussed his family’s long-standing community involvement, including support for local schools and the Kingfisher Educational Foundation’s annual duck race. As the 100th anniversary approaches in 2027, Jeff looks forward to carrying on the tradition with an eye toward the future, perhaps even flying cars someday.
