In a recent episode of The All About Network Show, we sat down with Carolyn Swisher of Stetson Bentley Real Estate to talk about her unique journey from Canada to Oklahoma and the path that led her into real estate.
Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Swisher spent her childhood moving throughout Canada before earning a degree in psychology with a business and marketing focus from the University of Manitoba. Her early career centered around sales, leadership, and marketing, experiences that would later shape her approach to serving clients in real estate.
Her move to Oklahoma came after years of a long-distance relationship with her husband, professional bullfighter Chuck Swisher. After completing her education and navigating the immigration process, she made the move south, eventually planting roots in Kingfisher and embracing a new chapter of life.
Throughout the conversation, Swisher explained that real estate was always something she had considered, but it wasn’t until she started over in a new country that she decided to fully pursue it. Drawing on her background in psychology and marketing, she focuses on building relationships, understanding clients’ needs, and helping reduce the stress that often comes with buying or selling a home.
Beyond the transactions, Swisher hopes to create an experience that feels personal, authentic, and even enjoyable. Whether through creative marketing or simply taking time to connect with people, her goal is to help clients feel confident and supported throughout one of life’s biggest decisions.
