What started as a joke between two close cousins became the ride of a lifetime. In August of 2019, Matt Endress and Brian Mueggenborg took the wheel of a Kingfisher staple, becoming the proud new owners of the over 40-year-old Napa Auto Parts store. What they didn’t know then was just how much that one decision would steer them toward something greater than they imagined.
Matt, no stranger to the auto parts world, brought 15 years of hands-on experience as the manager of O’Reilly Auto Parts. He knew the ins and outs of the business like the back of his oil-stained hand. Brian, on the other hand, was a “back seat” passenger in the early days, only popping in when needed. But in 2023, he jumped into the front seat, becoming full-time, and the cousin duo became an unstoppable team.
The heart of Napa doesn’t stop with the two cousins. It’s a full-on family affair from time to time. Matt’s wife, Jill, and their two kids, Cooper and Peyton, are no strangers to lending a hand when the store needs backup. Brian’s wife, Kristina, and their kids, Preston and Blake, also roll up their sleeves whenever duty calls.
Their passion for service and community didn’t stay parked in Kingfisher for long. In 2023, they expanded to El Reno, and by October of 2024, they brought Napa to Hennessey. With three locations, the pair has one clear mission: to deliver unbeatable customer service to every person who walks through their doors or calls with questions.
And they’ve got the horsepower to back it up, with over 100 years of combined experience among their friendly, knowledgeable team. Need a part that isn’t in the store? They’ll track it down, whether at one of the three Napa locations or by making it a speedy order. They will do their best to fulfill your order. Quick delivery, special orders, and small-town service with a big-time smile are all part of the Napa promise.
But wait, there’s more than just car parts. Napa carriers an assortment of farm equipment, making them a convenient go-to source not just for everyday drivers but for the ag community as well.
Even with three stores to manage, the Endress and Mueggenborg families know how to have a little fun. From weekend camping and boating trips to wrenching on their own hobby rides, including Brian’s ’72 and ’87 square-body Chevys, Matt’s classic Chevy pick-up and Nova, and their famous “too cool for school” bus seen rolling through Kingfisher parades, and maybe a little golf club swinging as well, they know how to keep life balanced and full of adventure.
