A simple act of giving can go a long way, especially when it helps support future educators and students in the community.
Laura Callaham, owner of Vintage Joy, recently made a charitable donation to the Kingfisher County Retired Educators Association scholarship program as part of the store’s April giving initiative.
The donation will help support the KCREA scholarship fund, which provides financial assistance to local students pursuing their educational goals. Scholarships through the organization are awarded later each year and continue the association’s mission of encouraging and supporting education within the community.
Dana Golbek accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.
Community partnerships like this continue to show how local businesses can make a meaningful impact beyond their storefronts. Through efforts like the April giving initiative, Vintage Joy is helping invest in students, education, and the future of Kingfisher County.
