Glen Forrest Masters

Glen Forrest Masters, 62 of Kingfisher, Oklahoma peacefully went to be with his Savior Jesus on June 2nd, 2024.  He was surrounded by his family.
Glen was born on July 13, 1961 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Forrest (Frosty) and Anna Mae Masters. Glen graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1979. Glen worked at, and later became manager of KFC on the corner of 81 & 33. That’s where he met his best friend and love of his life, Lisa (Wilson) Masters. They were married on August 25, 1984 in Kingfisher. Glen continued to manage that KFC and later managed the KFC in Guthrie. When that store closed, he found his place at Wal-Mart in Kingfisher. He always enjoyed all of his coworkers and serving the community. Glen was a member of LifeWay Church in Kingfisher where he served for many years and always kept the lawn looking pristine. He loved his church family and everyone he met. Glen was an avid outdoorsman and could be found every weekend in the fall taking his 1986 Chevy “Brownie” and his boys out to hunt.
Glen and his wife Lisa helped raise their nephew and niece, Josh and Brittany, whom he loved as his own children.
Glen and Lisa grew in their faith and love towards each other and as the years passed it became stronger. He always told Lisa that she was his #2 right after God. He grew to be a great husband and amazing friend to her.
He took great pride in his two boys. He watched them play sports, compete, and grow up in the community he loved so much. He was most proud when his oldest son, Adam, attended and graduated from The University of Oklahoma, which he often said he was obligated to be a fan of “because he gave OU all his money.” He was equally proud of his youngest son, Samuel, especially when he met and married Sara, who he was so proud to call his daughter. Glen’s other pride was his granddaughter Adalynn, who he was the best and most loving Papa to.
Glen would often give nicknames to family and friends and enjoyed joking with the people he cared about. Those close to him knew how ornery he was. His conversations always concluded with a giant hug. Glen loved to laugh with his wife Lisa, talk sports and politics with Adam, and chat about work and hunting with Samuel.
Glen was a devoted son and always there for his mom.
