Meet Cindy Knapski, Physical Therapist Assistant at Gonzales Therapy, a natural encourager with a big heart for helping kids discover what they’re capable of.
Cindy’s heart for therapy started close to home. Watching her grandpa work through rehab after a hospital stay and seeing him gain the confidence to return home safely. That experience showed her just how powerful therapy can be, and she brings that same belief into every session.
She believes therapy is about so much more than exercises. Yes, it supports balance, coordination, and skill development, but at its core, therapy builds confidence and independence, which can be life-changing for both kids and families.
A day at Gonzales Therapy for Cindy looks like play with purpose, helping kids try hard things, cheering them on, and reminding them (sometimes repeatedly) that they can do this. Her therapy vibe is best summed up by her theme song choice, “Try Everything” from Zootopia, because progress often starts with simply giving it a go.
Cindy knows just how hard her little patients work, and she says it best: “I LOVE seeing kids reach a milestone that they’ve been working toward!”
After a full day of listening, caring, and celebrating wins (big and small), Cindy resets with a walk outside and a good podcast or some music.
Working with the pediatric population has always been Cindy’s dream, and she considers it a true privilege to work with such amazing kids every day. And trust us, those kids are just as lucky to have her.
If you’re curious about how therapy could support your child, the team at Gonzales Therapy would love to visit with you. Reach out to learn more or schedule a consultation at 580-365-9976, or stop by and see them at 311 N. Main in Kingfisher.
(is this ok? I want to end by leading them to you.)
