The Fit & Festive 5K and Fun Run was exactly that—FUN AND FESTIVE! On Saturday, December 7th, 44 cheerful participants decked out in their holiday gear showed up to jingle all the way through the course. For the 1-mile fun run, Miss Hannah Weaver sprinted her way to first place, proving that even Santa’s reindeer have some competition. Hunter Russell dashed through the 5K, taking the top spot. Carla Hall came sledding in with the best time for the ladies.
This marked the third year of the Fit & Festive event, and the proceeds will be used to support projects that encourage and promote wellness and physical fitness in Kingfisher. Photos AAK- Amy Smith
