Taking advantage of today’s nice weather, Jose Gomez spent the afternoon in Kingfisher spraying his yard for weeds. While he wasn’t actually painting the grass green, it sure looked that way compared to the rest of winter’s brown lawns around town.
His home at the corner of S 7th and Chisholm Dr. stood out as one of the first signs that spring might finally be thinking about showing up in Kingfisher.
Sometimes all it takes is one green yard to give the rest of us hope.
