Helen Kay (Triplett) Rector was born September 4, 1937, in the Kingfisher Hospital, Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Walter and Pearl Triplett of Reeding, Oklahoma. She passed on to a better life on June 16th, 2026, to be with her Lord.
She attended Cashion School, 1st thru 12th , graduating with the class of 1955. She worked for Jno. Pendleton, MD in Kingfisher, then graduated from Comptometer School in Oklahoma City and worked for Nabisco. Later, she was employed by the U.S. Post Office in Cashion and the office of the Farmer’s Exchange Elevator.
She married the love of her life, John Palmer Rector, November 11, 1956, and had 60 wonderful years together. They had two sons, Gregory Alan and Barry Wade Rector.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Alan and wife Cynthia of Cashion, OK, son Barry Wade and wife Pamela of Edmond; granddaughter, Christian Wilbur and husband Jacob of Edmond; grandson, Garrett Rector and wife Kelsey of Cashion, Bradley Wade Rector of Edmond, Ramsey Palmer Rector and wife Faith of Mulhall, OK, Benton Wade Rector, Bryce Hudson Rector and Benjamin Wade Rector of Edmond; great grandsons, Karter Jacob & Kacen Christian Wilbur; great granddaughter, Kollyns Elizabeth Wilbur of Edmond; great grandson, Everett James Rector of Cashion; great granddaughter, Palmer Rae Rector of Mulhall and brother, Marvin Triplett of Edmond.
Visitation for Helen will be Friday, June 26, 2026, at Sanders Funeral Service from 9:00am-6:00pm.
Funeral services will be 10:00am, Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Cashion Christian Church with burial following at Cashion Cemetery. Under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
