
The Kingfisher High School Cross Country teams participated in the Heritage Hall Cross Country meet this past week on October 10th. The Lady Jackets went up against 19 other schools in their division (4A and below) and placed 2nd as a team, behind Casady, with 71 points.
Our very own Scout Snodgrass gave it her all as she placed 1st with a time of 12:29, finishing almost exactly 14 seconds before the runner who placed 2nd.
Lily Lunsford placed 6th with a time of 13:01, Harper Evans was 11th with a 13:23, Mattie Slezickey was 21st with a 13:41, Terry Ann McCully was 32nd with a 14:14, Chloe Richardson was 80th with a 16:19, Rylee Long-Bush was 81st with a 16:21, Gisselle Ponce was 85th a 16:32 and Sophia Dudzinski 106th. There were a total of 126 girls competing in their division.
The KHS Cross Country boys trio competed against 18 different schools. Wyatt Long placed 32nd place with a time of 18:07. Conner Askey was 102nd with a 21:01 and Chance Dunn 104th with a 21:04. A total of 183 boys participated in the division race.
