On a beautiful Easter weekend, Saturday, March 30th to be exact. The Kingfisher football field was transformed with a blanket of 4,000 colorful eggs, while about 300 little feet were eagerly waiting to race onto the field to fill their baskets. Excitement and anticipation flowed throughout the field as children ranging from 2 to 7 years of age participated in this family fun event coordinated by the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce. As the children raced around some of them were lucky enough to find the golden eggs, which were hidden among the thousands of regular colorful eggs. These golden eggs held special grand prizes that made the event even more exciting for the kids. Overall, the Easter egg hunt was a great success that brought a lot of smiles and joy to the town of Kingfisher. Photos AAK -Amy Smith
