On Friday, September 29th, the Kingfisher High School Yellow Jackets and Mount St. Mary clashed in a homecoming showdown. In the first half, the Yellow Jackets racked up 24 points while holding the Rockets from scoring any touchdowns. Unfortunately, the second half of the game saw no more success for Kingfisher as they were unable to break through the Rockets’ defensive line. The Rockets scored their first and only touchdown with 50 seconds left in the game. Ultimately, Kingfisher won with a final score of 24-6. The team plays again today, October 6th, in Mannford and next Friday, October 13th, at Metro Christian.
