KHS CHEER – REGIONAL AND STATE CHAMPS

Beginning in the summer, Coach Reagan and her cheer squad have been perfecting their competition routine. Practically every day they spent practicing, readying themselves for their Regional competition on Saturday, September 16th. They traveled to Broken Arrow that weekend and all of their hard work paid off when they were named the 4A Regional Champions, qualifying them for State. The following Saturday, September 23rd, they journeyed to Tulsa’s Union High School for the State competition. Their effort was rewarded when their combined passion and technical skill in their tumbling and stunts resulted in them being crowned the 4A State Champions.

At a Kingfisher Public School’s Board meeting on Monday, October 2nd, they recognized the accomplishments of the Kingfisher High School Cheer Squad. Superintendent, Mr. Glover, said, “there was no doubt in my mind that they won.”
