The Kingfisher Public Schools Board of Education held a special meeting Monday, May 11, at the Kingfisher Public Schools Administration Building, with discussion centered around the employment of current KPS Superintendent Andy Evans.
The meeting began at 4:00 p.m., with the board entering executive session at 4:02 p.m. Board members later reconvened in open session at 7:22 p.m. No action was taken following the executive session.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Board of Education released the following statement regarding discussions with Superintendent Evans:
“The Board of Education and Superintendent Andy Evans have had productive discussions regarding the current state of the district, and together we have identified areas where we can improve and continue to grow. We look forward to working together to make Kingfisher Public Schools the very best it can be.”
The statement emphasized a continued commitment between district leadership and the Board of Education to strengthen Kingfisher Public Schools and support future growth across the district.
