Two weeks ago today 11 students from Kingfisher County were headed off to 4-H camp. For those who don’t know, 4-H is an educational program that puts emphasis on “learning by doing” in order to develop important skills. It also provides kids with a sense of responsibility, drive, and self-worth. While there 4-H students participate in several things such as talent shows, workshops, fishing, and hiking. It was a busy few days but was a lot of fun in the end. The camp took place from June 11th to June 14th and had a total of 8 counties present at this year’s camp.
