On Saturday, November 9th the Kingfisher Elks Lodge #2416 had their Annual Veterans Banquet. There were roughly 100 people in attendance for the event. The Kingfisher Fire Department Color Guard conducted the Presentation of the Colors while Kent Pharoah played the bagpipes. Select students of the Kingfisher High School Choir performed the Star Spangled Banner. Mike Inman, Oklahoma Elks Association State Veterans Chair welcomed visitors and recognized all of the armed forces branches. Dinner was served by the Antlers, a Junior Elks Program that allows young people in our communities to get involved with the Elks and the many service-related projects the Lodges sponsor.
