Kingfisher residents are being advised that rolling power outages are possible over the next several days as OG&E continues repairing damage to its power infrastructure following the Friday, August 7 storm.
Crews are continuing repairs and working to avoid outages whenever possible. However, high temperatures are putting additional demand on the electric system while repairs are still underway.
OUTAGES ARE POSSIBLE, NOT GUARANTEED
At this time, rolling outages have not been announced as a certainty. They are simply a possibility if temporary outages become necessary to help manage the electric system.
Residents are encouraged to stay aware and be prepared in case power is temporarily interrupted.
The City of Kingfisher will share additional information as it becomes available.
