The Kingfisher High School 2024 Softball team had a great season, resulting in 23 wins and 9 losses. The Lady Jackets made it all the way to the Class 4A Regionals, where they beat Byng 9-1, lost to Blanchard 10-0, and beat Byng again, 3-0. The latter game sealed their ticket to the championship round versus Blanchard. Blanchard was victorious in their pursuits.
Although the season may not have gone as well as they had hoped, there is still cause for celebration. The Kingfisher High School 2024 Softball team was declared 4A Academic State Champions for their dedication in the classroom. The team will be recognized this Saturday, October 19th, at 1:30 p.m. at the Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
