Early morning storms left behind scattered wind damage across Kingfisher County as they rolled through the area.
Reports include downed trees, bent flagpoles, and trampolines taking an unplanned trip across the neighborhood. So far, the most significant damage reported appears to be at the fireworks stand near Walmart.
Around 1 a.m., Monday, June 22 a severe thunderstorm moved across Kingfisher County, prompting a radar-indicated tornado warning southwest of Kingfisher. As a precaution, tornado sirens were activated in Kingfisher.
Kingfisher County Emergency Management also reported power lines down east of Okarche. Highway 81 at E730 Road was temporarily closed after power lines fell across the roadway.
