Kingfisher Firefighters responded to a trailer home fire at the Sleepee Hollow Trailer Park north of Kingfisher on Hwy 81 on January 25th. Firefighters arrived to find flames coming out of the roof of the 5th-wheel trailer along with heavy smoke. Steve Loftis, Kingfisher County Emergency Manager reported that the trailer was moved in several days ago and that the homeowner was not home when the fire started. No injuries were reported. Kingfisher County SO and Kingfisher Police assisted the FD with traffic control. This left the Smith family homeless and without any belongings. They have set up a GoFundMe page to see if anyone can help with their loss. This link will take you to their page where you can donate. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-for-expenses-to-find-new-home-and-to-furnish Photos by AAK Jack Quirk and Linda Garcia.
