The Kingfisher Trails, in partnership with the Kingfisher American Legion, have been diligently working to create a Flagpole Plaza near the Bandshell Amphitheater in Newfield Community Park. First came the concrete base, then the masonry, now comes the light, flag, and dedication plaque. There was a small ceremony of sorts Monday, November 11th at 11am. There will be a Flag Raising and Plaque Ceremony at a later date once the plaque arrives.
