Kris, 34, passed away on May 25, 2025. He was born Thursday, May 31, 1990, at 4:20 pm. He was 5 lbs 10oz at St Mary’s in Enid, OK to William Jack Garramone and Tracy Dawn DeShazo. Kris is an identical twin to his brother Keath Garramone. Keath, who was born 2 1/2 minutes after Kris, was always reminded by Kris that he was the oldest. But Kris always did whatever Keath told him to do anyway. Less than two years later little sister Lynzi was born, so that meant she never got to have any boyfriends in high school. When Kris was 5 years old, he got two more brothers, Justin and Billy, and a second dad, Richard, whom Kris was always saying he was thankful for coming into his life.
He loved football and wrestling and cars when he was in school. When Kris was younger, along with his brothers and sister, He asked Jesus into his life when we broke down on the side of the road. We were all praying for it to be fixed and that’s when they learned the power of prayer Kris was a great son, grandson, uncle, brother, cousin and friend.
He was also a great father who loved his children with all his heart. Truthfully, ALL kids love Kris from the moment they met him due to his adventurous and spontaneous spirit Kristofer loved his children deeply from the moment they were born.
He fought so hard for them and always wanted them to know the truth about his never-ending love for them.
Kristofer had struggles in his short life and went to seek help. That is when his life shifted in a positive way. He found his purpose and that was to help others with their struggles as well. He would frequently open up the AA meetings in Dover at the community center and would stay to talk to anyone that needed someone to lean on.
He has always been a hard worker and I’m sure many of you knew him because of this. If there was one thing about Kris that stood out, he gave his all and was dependable.
Kristofer married Mallori Pool and they became the parents of Kristian. Kristian was his wing man the first two years of his life and never went anywhere without his daddy. When they divorced, he later married Brittany Turtle and together they had Miracle and Marlee and he was also a father figure to Maverick.
Unfortunately, life happens and people move on due to tragic events. Kristofer at last found the love of his life in Elicia Roedel and her children, Patrick, Paden, and Jaden Roedel. He also got to be a Papa to his best little helper Oaklynn whom he adored. Elicia and Kris bought a home here in Kingfisher and were working to build a better future for their combined family.
Kris fought every day to fight the good fight and he never gave up and always pushed forward to be a better man.
Kristofer is survived by the love of his life, Elicia, His children, Clayden, Miracle, Kristian, Marlee, Logan, Wyleigh, Patrick, Paden, and Jaden; his father, Jack Garramone; his mother, Tracy DeShazo and his second father Richard DeShazo; his twin brother, Keath Garramone; little sister, Lynzi Garramone; brothers, Billy and Justin DeShazo; Grandmother, Jackie Perry; nieces, Emily Garramone, Liliana Garramone; nephews, Wyatt Garramone and Jackson Garramone. and many more family members who will greatly miss him beyond measure.
He had a light about him that was contagious and could reach into any dark place to bring it back to light as well. He will live on through the stories and the memories and the deep connection he had with those who struggled and those who loved him and those who kept trying to fight the good fight.
Shine on sweet boy. You beat us there. We will see you soon.
A memorial service for Kris will be 1:00pm, Thursday, June 5, 2025 at LifeWay Church in Kingfisher, OK.
