There is something special about seeing a familiar space get a fresh new purpose, especially when it benefits the community.
On Monday, March 23, the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting celebrating the new home of Mercy Therapy Services at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher.
Therapy Services, which were previously located inside the Mercy Clinic, have now moved into the hospital’s former surgical wing. The area has been transformed into a warm and welcoming therapy space focused on patient comfort, accessibility, and care.
The updated location gives therapy staff and patients a dedicated environment designed specifically for rehabilitation and recovery services. From physical therapy to other supportive care services, the new wing creates more room and flexibility to better serve the Kingfisher community.
Community members, Chamber representatives, Mercy staff, and supporters gathered for the ribbon cutting to celebrate both the new space and the continued growth of healthcare services in Kingfisher.
Projects like this may seem simple on the surface, but for patients and families who rely on these services, having a comfortable and convenient environment can make a real difference during recovery and treatment.
The renovation also reflects Mercy’s ongoing investment in providing quality healthcare close to home, allowing local residents to receive important therapy services without having to travel far from their community.
