Jim Thomas’s favorite Christmas tradition has made its way to Kingfisher. High Pressure Transports made a quick stop at Casey’s in Hennessey after a long journey from Michigan so Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce Members and City Officials could drape a banner over the tree inscribed “Christmas is a Big Deal in Kingfisher”. The banner was made by a local company, Detteweiler’s Custom Print T-Shirts. From there Kingfisher Police Department and Hennessey Police Department escorted the flatbed semi to the Kingfisher (Oklahoma) Park. Once the Jolly Green Giant made it to the park Tony’s Pump & Supply and City of Kingfisher, OK employees took over, lifting and cutting the tree to fit its new home.
