Approximately 65 children and their families gathered at the Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, Aug. 1, for the church’s annual Back-to-School Bash, an afternoon filled with fun, food and fellowship as families prepared for the upcoming school year.
Guests enjoyed free hot dogs and snow cones while children spent the day exploring bounce houses, playing games and participating in a variety of activities. Organizers also held prize giveaways throughout the afternoon, adding to the excitement of the event.
One of the day’s biggest highlights was the distribution of 50 backpacks filled with school supplies, helping local students head back to the classroom with the tools they need for a successful school year.
The Back-to-School Bash provided more than just school supplies. It gave families an opportunity to come together, connect with their community and celebrate the start of a new school year in a fun and welcoming environment.
