A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle along U.S. Highway 81, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at approximately 2:37 a.m. on Friday, March 27, just south of County Road E850, about two miles south of Kingfisher Memorial Hospital.
According to the OHP report, the pedestrian was walking northbound on Highway 81 when they were struck by a northbound vehicle.
The driver, a 56-year-old man from Kingfisher, was not injured in the incident. No additional information about the pedestrian has been released at this time.
