Reba Pearl (Cain) Terrell was born on July 26, 1939, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Harvey Cain and Bonnie (Bench) Cain. She passed away on May 4, 2024, at Integris Hospital of Edmond at the age of 84.
Reba grew up in Wewoka, Oklahoma and attended Wewoka High School where she graduated in 1957. She married Walter Clell Bagwell in 1961 and they welcomed into their family Tony Paul Bagwell in 1964 and Amy Lou Bagwell in 1967. Reba, Tony, and Amy moved to Weatherford in 1974. Reba worked for the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation in Wewoka, then in Oklahoma City, and then continued that job in Weatherford at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She met John Terrell in 1976 and they fell in love and married in 1982. She retired from the state after 37 years of service in 1996 and moved from Weatherford to Cashion to be closer to her grandkids.
Reba lived in Cashion and enjoyed watching her grandkids grow up and attended many of their activities. She dearly loved each one of her kids, grandkids, and eventually great-grandkids and they were all the highlight of her life. For the past several years she has lived in Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie and loved playing cards and dominoes with her many friends. She was most definitely loved there by all the residents and workers alike!
Reba gave her life to Christ as a young lady and was baptized in the Wewoka Church of Christ. She loved the Lord and attended the Kingfisher Church of Christ until moving and also spent a lot of time at the Cashion Baptist Church with her daughter Amy and her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Broadbent and her husband Lane of Cashion and her daughter-in-law, Charlene Bagwell of Houston, Texas. Also, by her grandsons, Steven Wilson and his fiancé Lauren Bell of Kingfisher, Luke Broadbent and his wife Marlee of Hartshorne, Cade Broadbent of Denver, Colorado, Greyson Broadbent of Cashion, Justice Broadbent and his wife Tristen of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Cody Dobbs and his wife Stacy of Portland, Oregon. And also by her 2 granddaughters, Baylee Maroney and her husband Peyton of Cashion and Rylee Broadbent also of Cashion. She is also survived by her 2 great-grandchildren, Baker Maroney of Cashion and Channing Broadbent of Hartshorne. And by her sister, Jane Resler of El Reno and by her twin brother, Raymond Cain and his wife Ann of Wewoka. Along with many nieces and nephews!
She is preceded in death by her son, Tony Bagwell, her husband John Terrell, both of her parents, Harvey and Bonnie Cain, her brother, Carrol Cain, and her sister, Sheron Hendryx.
Services will be 2:00pm, Thursday, May 9 at Cashion First Baptist Church with burial following at Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, OK.
