Long before you see a provider, have your vitals taken, or walk into an exam room, there’s one person who has already started caring for you.
For most patients at ICare Primary Care & Wellness, that’s Ctaci Milligan.
Whether she’s answering the phone, checking in a patient, or simply saying good morning, Ctaci has a way of making people feel like they’ve known her for years. Some people have that gift. They don’t know a stranger, and somehow they make the ones around them feel special.
After spending the last ten months as a Medical Receptionist at ICare Primary Care & Wellness, she’s become a familiar face for patients walking through the front door. It’s a role she genuinely enjoys.
“I’ve always enjoyed helping people,” Ctaci said. “Even though I’m not providing direct patient care, I love making sure patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors.”
Born and raised in Kingfisher, working in her hometown means more than having a short drive to work. It means caring for neighbors, friends, and families she’s known most of her life.
She chose ICare because it gave her the chance to build genuine relationships in the community she calls home. For Ctaci, those connections are the best part of the job.
“A visit to the doctor’s office can be stressful,” she said. “If I can greet someone with kindness, patience, and a smile, maybe I can make their day just a little easier.”
When asked about a hidden talent, she doesn’t mention juggling or playing an instrument.
“I just love people; conversation has always come naturally to me.”
Honestly, after spending just a few minutes with Ctaci, that’s not hard to believe.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, making memories with the people who mean the most to her.
Looking ahead, Ctaci hopes to continue growing in healthcare, learning something new every day, and being a familiar face patients know they can count on.
