If you were looking for a dry spot in Kingfisher on Saturday, Shaw Park probably wasn’t it!
The 2nd Annual Splash Pad Party turned into an afternoon full of water-filled fun, laughter, and summertime memories as kids enjoyed the splash pad with water guns in hand and plenty of excitement to share. Parents quickly discovered that watching from the sidelines wasn’t always the safest option, and many found themselves joining in on the fun, including this photographer!
Children ran through the fountains, played friendly water games, and cooled off with juicy watermelon and cold drinks throughout the afternoon. More than 50 free water guns were handed out, giving everyone a chance to participate in the festivities.
The free community event brought together families from across the area for an afternoon packed with smiles, fun, and lasting memories. By the end of the day, there were plenty of damp clothes and happy faces, and nobody seemed to mind.
