Last night, strong rains and wind ripped through Hennessey. Three large OG&E transmission line poles broke off near the intersection of 2850 and 670 throwing all of Kingfisher, Dover, and parts Hennessey into the dark for several hours. There were also reports of additional poles down along Highway 81 near Taggarts Garden Center. In Kingfisher, the power went off around 7 PM and was finally restored around 10 PM.
