The Kingfisher Lady Jackets’ softball matchup with the Drummond Lady Bulldogs came to an early end Thursday, September 24, when lightning and thunderstorms interrupted play.
The teams managed to get a few innings in before the weather brought the evening’s action to a halt. What began as an opportunity for the Lady Jackets to take on the visiting Bulldogs turned into a shortened outing as storms moved through.
AAK photographer Maitland Woody captured scenes from the matchup before Mother Nature had the final say.
