Tuesday, December 30th, we celebrated the retirement of Dennis and Tammy Mueggenborg. It was a bittersweet occasion. For 44 years, Dennis and Tammy faithfully served the Kingfisher community and surrounding areas through their cherished downtown flower shop and Hallmark Gold Crown Store, Designs by Dennis. Their business became a cornerstone of our town, welcoming visitors from across northwest Oklahoma and the greater OKC area, and adding beauty to our community.
Dennis and Tammy have played a vital role in many of our town’s most important moments, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and even during times of loss. While they are retiring, you’ll still see them in the shop from time to time, helping the new owners during the busiest seasons of the year Valentine’s Day, prom, and through Memorial Day.
Their legacy in this community is immeasurable, and they will be sincerely missed.
