Today, our feature is on Amy Elwood. Amy was born and raised in Woodward, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Woodward High School. After high school, she explored life in Colorado and Germany before returning to her hometown 12 years later. Amy has been happily married to her husband, Bryan, for over 20 years, and together they have two children: their son, who is studying auto mechanics at Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee, and their daughter, who is in 7th grade at Mooreland Jr/Sr High School.
Amy began her career in the insurance industry in 2003 with an independent agency. She joined Farmers Insurance in 2010, working alongside Justin Stephenson. In 2020, she transitioned back to being an independent agent with SBG (Stephenson Baggs & Guthrie Personal) allowing her to expand her expertise and provide even more personalized solutions to her clients. The insurance industry captivated her with its diverse opportunities, many of which often go unnoticed. What excites Amy the most is the ability to help individuals protect what matters most to them, and she finds great satisfaction in going above and beyond to ensure their peace of mind. She specializes primarily in personal lines insurance, including home, auto, farm, and life insurance, while also enjoying the challenge of small commercial policies. Amy believes in building long-term relationships with her clients, dedicating herself to providing personalized service at every step of the way.
