The Kingfisher High School Class of 2026 graduation took place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingfisher High School APB, where 91 seniors were celebrated as the 133rd graduating class.
The morning began with the sound of the KHS Band playing “Pomp and Circumstance” as seniors entered the arena one by one, greeted by cheers, applause, and a sense of finality that filled the room. The Invocation was delivered by Isabella Gomez, followed by the National Anthem, setting a proud and emotional tone. Class President Reese Roof then welcomed everyone, officially opening the ceremony.
One of the most memorable moments came when the senior choir, joined by Audrey Long, performed “From Now On” from The Greatest Showman. The performance brought energy and emotion to the crowd, capturing the excitement of the day and the memories leading up to it.
The ceremony continued with the Hall of Fame inductions, presented by Shelby Davis and Cooper Young, honoring Steve Sharp and Jared Harrison for their lasting impact on the school community.
A deeply meaningful moment followed when Valentina Insignares and Jozie Loewen presented an honorary diploma to the parents of Kinlee Denton, who tragically passed away during her sophomore year of high school and would have graduated with her class.
The energy shifted again as the program moved into the Valedictorian Address delivered by Harper Evans, followed by a slideshow titled “From Diapers to Diplomas.” The slideshow brought laughter, nostalgia, and reflection as students and families looked back on years of growing up together.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. Names were called across the stage, one by one. Students crossed, shook hands, and received their diplomas as the crowd erupted after each name. Every step felt heavier and more meaningful as the final walk as high school students unfolded.
When the last name was called, Superintendent Mr. Andy Evans stepped forward. He delivered his closing remarks, asked the class to grab their tassels, and officially announced the Class of 2026 as graduates. In an instant, the APB came alive with cheers. Students and parents erupted as caps flew into the air and confetti filled the space, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
The ceremony closed with the Benediction by Scout Snodgrass and a final recessional performed by the KHS Band as the graduates walked out surrounded by celebration, pride, and unforgettable memories.
