Back in 2020, when the world went into chaos mode, work was becoming hard to come by in the oil field industry. Tony’s Pump & Supply was looking for anything to generate revenue. A good friend of Josh Bain’s, who he has spent almost every summer at the lake with, reached out to him about work and manpower they had available. His friend lives at Keystone Lake and has made acquaintances with lots of people on the lake. Through his connections, they started out traveling over and doing dock maintenance and repairs at the lake and have been involved in various projects, including building a 600 ft wave break at Pier 51, over the past three years.
Beginning last year, after discovering a need in the lake and marine industry, they went to work on designing a front-mount boat lift system that could accommodate boats up to 25 feet at a fraction of the cost compared to the competition. Utilizing their manufacturing capabilities, parts sourcing, and manpower, they developed a product that they have installed on Keystone Lake, Eufaula Lake, and Lake Tenkiller, with a waiting list of installs to complete. While this is only a small part of their business, they’ve enjoyed getting involved in something that aligns with many of their passions and operates independently of the oil field industry’s ups and downs. If you’re in the market for a boat lift this summer, reach out to Oklahoma Boat Lifts, a Division of Tony’s Pump & Supply. Call Clay @ 405-538-9446
