Treva Lynn Carico Gamble, 64 died Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her Okarche home with her husband by her side.
Treva was born June 22, 1959 in Shawnee, OK to Boniface W. and Doris (Caldwell) Carico. Treva loved animals, especially her dog, Dolly, and her cat, Cookie. When Treva was little she loved playing the Lone Ranger with her stick horse, black mask, and cowboy hat. She would ride her stick horse all day long. Treva has many friends old and new that she loved dearly. Treva will always be remembered by her beautiful personality and loving heart.
Treva graduated in May 1977 from McCloud High School. She married Bobby Gamble on June 23, 1977. The two were each other’s lifelong companions. They were blessed with one son, Bradly Scott Gamble.
Treva worked at NBC Bank in Kingfisher for 10 years and retired from Pioneer Telephone Company after 22 years. Treva loved shopping and spending time with friends, family, and grandchildren.
Treva was survived by her husband Bobby, of the home, their son Bradly Gamble and daughter-in-law Heather Gamble of Piedmont, sister Jarenda and husband William of Yukon, brother Ronnie Carico of McLoud, grandchildren – Dylan Rein of Oklahoma City, Vega Gamble of Piedmont, and Kynlee Simmons of Piedmont, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Treva was preceded in death by her parents Boniface and Doris Carico, paternal grandma, Annie Carico, and maternal grandma, Bessie Caldwell.
Memorial services will be held on, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Okarche. Under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service for Treva Gamble
